Inside Home

Air Cleaner with Hepa Filter - Run an air cleaner to capture mold spores and other microbes out of your breathing environment. It doesn't have to be fancy. But, it needs to have a True Hepa filter in it, in order to capture the mold spores. Every home should have one. There are so many microbes in our inside and outside air, taxing the cleaning systems of the human body, that reducing the microbes your body has to deal with is very beneficial. Opening up the windows and doors and airing the house out, on a day when the outside mold spore levels are low, helps clear out concentrated levels of mold spores and their mycotoxins. Then the air cleaner can capture any new ones which came in with the fresh air.

Vacuum with Hepa Filter - Frequent vacuuming of your home, using a vacuum with a True Hepa filter, helps to capture the harmful mold spores and other microbes out of the air you breathe.

Contaminated Clothes - When you come home from an environment where mold spores have gotton onto your clothes, you might want to take them off and throw them directly into the clothes washer tub. I work outside all day and walk through tall grass areas, accumulating grass seeds. pollens and mold spores onto my clothes. I don't want to bring them into the house where I am trying to keep the level of microbes low. This is especially true during periods where you are going back and forth between your old contaminated home, and your new home.

Bedding - Change the sheets and pillow cases on your bed on a weekly basis. Vacuum the mattress and pillow cases each time you change the sheets and pillow cases. This also helps reduce dust mites, which have a symbiotic relationship with mold. Where there is mold, it is more likely to find dust mites.

Fans - Stagnant air makes it more likely to have mold growth. Areas with low air flow, like closets, are more conducive to mold growth. Fans circulating air help to prevent mold growth. But, if there is already a mold growth problem, they will stir the mold spores up and circulate them. Position fans so mold spres are blown, or sucked, out of the home. It is very important to have strong fans in bathrooms and other rooms where the humidity needs to beextracted from that room. An excellent tool to use for this is to install a humidistat, whcih turns the fan on automatically when the room reaches the set humidity level. I feel 40% humidity is the ideal humidity level. Most molds don't grow when it is under 50% humidity. Too little humidity can turn us into what I call a microbe magnet. I feel the static of too low of humidity can actually attract airborne particles such as mold spores.

Shower Curtains - Shower curtains tend to have the edge fold over, trapping moisture inside that flap. Mold will grow there. Cleaning the shower curtain with bleach will kill the mold on it. Wait 5-10 minutes and then rinse well. Be sure to clean it in a well ventilated area, and use proper protection for your eyes and lungs.

Overflow Drains for Sinks and Tubs - This is an area where mold has a tendency to grow. Pouring some bleah down there periodically will kill it. Wait awhile and then rinse well. Ventilate well and protect your eyes and lungs.

Garbage Disposals - This is an area with a high probability of mold growth. Pieces of food get stuck in the disposal and the P trap of the sink, then mold. Periodically fill the sink up part way with bleach. Use long handled tongs to pull the sink plug out, letting the bleach gush down the disposal and drain. Wait awhile for it to kill all mold, then run cold water down drain for awhile to flush out the bleach. Ventillate well and protect your eyes and lungs.

Hygeine

Shower before Bed - During the day various microbe such as mold spores accumulate on our hair, skin and clothes. It is a good isea to shower them off of you prior to laying down on the bed you are trying to keep microbe free. Beds and pillows tend to be saturated with various microbes such as mold spores. Pillows should be replaced once a year, preferably with an allergy free one.

Dandruff - Dandruff is a fungal condition. The mold sucks the moisture out of the scalp, making it flake. This is why most dandruff shampoos have an antifungal ingredient. Try to use a natural one. I suppose it could be used to kill mold on the skin of other parts of the body.

Pets - When I was in my toxic mold exposure, one time I smelled what I was coughing up. It smelled like the wet dog hair of an outside dog, who is rarely bathed. It started me thinking about the potential for fungal conditions to grow on dogs and cats, from their hair and dander getting wet. I watch a friend's dog for him. He is an inside and outside dog. He smelled. His eyes were bloodshot and drooped. And he displaced some mold exposure symptoms. Perhaps from running through tall grass and mold ridden ground cover.

I started giving him a bath using a dandruff shamoo, since they have antifungals in them. It was quite amazing actually. His eyes were no longer bloodshot and droopy. The skin around his eyes actually tightened up. His coat looks and feels totally different. Now I give him a dandruff shampoo bath every couple of weeks.

If you have been in a toxic mold exposure, remember your pets have been affected too. The spores have landed on their hair and skin. They have also inhaled all the spores. Animals have long been used as early warning systems to detect harmful substances. I put a couple of 3mg drops of chlorophyll/chlorophyllin in his water bowl.

Ears - The purpose of ear wax is to catch pieces of leaves, dust, pollen, mold spores and other microbes floating through the air. The skin inside the ears gradually moves from inside the ears to the outside, over time. It is like a slow moving conveyor belt taking the microbe saturated wax out. Like the rest of the body, the ears adapt to changes. If there are a lot of loud noises, they grow more wax to dampen the vibrations of the ear drum. When the amount of microbes entering the ears increases, the ears produce more wax to try to catch that higher volume of toxic molds drifting in, especially at night when one ear is up.

When the volume of toxic mold spores entering the ears is too great to capture in the wax, the ears are not always successful at protecting the sensitive skin of the inner ear from the damaging effects of the toxic mold. This can contribute to, or cause, painful earaches and overgrowth of wax in the ears. This can lead to many problems of the ears, including conditons which lead doctors to put tubes in the ears of children, unfortunately.

I came to the conclusion that it was not a good idea for all that mold saturated wax to sit there against that sensitive inner ear skin, so close to the brain. Most of the ear cleaning kits are not very effective. The best method I have found is using ear candles. The heat from the flame gradually sucks the wax out of the ears and canals, as it burns over about twenty minutes. The first time I did it, it took 8 candles in one ear, and 6 candles in the other ear, over several days, to get all the wax out. No wonder I had so many earaches and was hard of hearing. The ear candles took care of those problems.

Half an eye dropper of hydrogen peroxide in the ear for about twenty minutes can help maintain mold free ears. How often depends on need.

Hydrogen Peroxide - Hydrogen Peroxide is a sterilant. It kills bacteria, viruses, mold and other fungi. I like to use it in several ways because it kills mold in a safe way. It also kills bacteria, helping to reduce the level of both fungi and bacteria, to levels more managable for my cleaning systems. It also thins the blood.

The store bought 3% solution can be used to rinse your mouth, killing all germs. Don't swallow it. You won't like the taste. Then I wait a few minutes to brush my teeth. There is some debate as to whether the "germs" in your mouth are bacteria or mold fungi. Seems to me that food rotting between the teeth would be mold.

If you have drying, cracking hands and skin, you can soak your hands in hydrogen peroxide for a few minutes to kill the various mold and other microbes, which are trying to take advantage of the cracks in your skin, to make entrance into your body. If it is bubbling, it is killing microbes. Sometimes you can get sharp nerve reactions to it's use. Rubbing some aloe or good natural hand cream onto the skin afterwards will help remoisturize the skin, and close the cracks. Drink lots of water too.

I have a lipoma on my back, from the period of my mold exposure. If it starts to hurt, I soak a washrag with hydrogen peroxide and use it as a HP pack. I let it sit on the lipoma for a half hour or so. This puts enough mold fighting soldiers into the area to keep it in check. It also thins the blood in the area, allowing more oxygenated blood to flow freely. I'll probably have it removed soon.

You can also rub hydrogen peroxide all over your skin to kill off mold and microbes on the skin of other parts of your body.

I have used a nasal spray made from 20% hydrogen peroxide and 80% distilled water, to kill off mold spores inhaled into my nose and nasal cavities during the day. I used a nasal spray bottle which mists the solution into the nose, inhaling it deep into the nasal cavities at the same time as spraying it. It will make your eyes water. You can mix it with a lower % of hp if you like. It mists better if it is warmed to body temperature before misting. Just put the bottle in your pocket for awhile before using.

A special grade of hydrogen peroxide can also be put directly into the blood stream using an IV, by a trained medical practionor, of course. This is a controversial procedure. But, I have seen it be amazingly effective at killing infections, high levels of mold and other invasive microbes. It has the potential for a dramatic reversal of degenerative health symptoms. But, all physiological conditions must be considered in your consultation with the trained medical practitionor.

**** I feel it is important to not use hydrogen peroxide or, any other solution or drug, too often. Hydrogen peroxide is a sterilant, killing all microbes, even some needed by your body. A periodic jolt can be an effective assist for your body. Like all drugs, hydrogen peroxide is manufatured naturally inside the human body, to assist the immune system in fighting invading microbes. When it is received from an outside source on a regular basis, natural production of it reduces or shuts down. This is a very important fact to remember regarding drugs too.

Athletes Foot - Athletes foot is a fungal condition. I have soaked my feet in hydrogen peroxide for 20-30 minutes, every few days, to get rid of it. If it is bubbling, it is killing microbes. Sometimes you can get sharp nerve reactions to it's use.

Foods & Diet

Water - The most important substance you take into your body is water. This is even more important for mold exposure patients. Mold sucks the moisture out of your body for it's own use, growth and survival. This needs to be replaced in addition to regular hydration. You can live longer without food than you can live without water. Water is the other way your body is supplied with oxygen (H2O). Addequate amounts of oxygen is required in order for the cells and tissues to stay generative and live. Our bodies are 60-90% water. Without it we are just a shriveled up pile of skin and bones.

The crystal structure of water can actually be altered by the energy from our thoughts, prayer, meditation, and other forms of spiritual discipline. This is very significant since we are 60-90% water. Even more so now it is realized there is a physiological connection between our thoughts and our bodies. They appear to be triggers of intention to our subconscious communication system. Like commands to be carried out by our body's systems. So, be careful what you think. Think positive, visualize how you want it to be, and practice your spiritual beliefs with a strong belief and a strong conviction.

Alcohol - Alcohol is a molded product. They age, ferment grains into beer, and fruit into wine. The mold of yeast is often used to mold the product faster. You are basically drinking a bunch of mold. Adding more mold to your system, especially when the level of various ingested and inhaled molds, and other fungals, is already high, further upsets the fungal/bacterial balance within the body. I believe it is the mycotoxic effects which cause the 'high'. The effects of alcohol on the human body are very similar to the effects of toxic molds on the human body. Just that the sudden increase in symptoms from drinking alcohol, goes away after awhile.

Cheese - Cheese curd is aged to make various cheeses. Mild for a shorter time. Sharp for a longer time. Anything aged is a molded product, which adds to the level of the mold brew accumulating inside your body. I like cheese. So, I just reduce the amount of cheese I eat. We're taliking about mold reduction here, to bring the body into fungal/bacterial balance.

Meat - Most of the meat sold in stores comes from cattle, pigs, sheep, chickens, turkeys which are grown under hygeinically undesirable circumstances. The conditions in the feed lots are conducive to various bacterial infections. To counter this, farmers have been routinely giving them antibiotics as a preventative measure. This creares two serious problems.

One, microbes are living organisms living in a 'small world', where the distance between them and the nodes where genetic material is exchanged and adjustments are made is very short, much like inside computers. This allows them to adjust to their environmental conditions and evolve much quicker than humans. They are becoming increasingly resistant to the effects of the antibiotics used by the farmers. There has been a semi successful effort by The Union of Concerned Scientists to get the chicken producers to stop using antibiotics which are also used for humans.

Two, when we eat this meat those antibiotics, along with their resistance to antibiotics, is ingested into our body, and it's gastrointestinal system. More microbes to upset the fungal/bacterial balance. And, more microbes for our cleaning systems to try to clean from our body.

Chlorophyll & Chlorophyllin - Mold is non-chlorophyll in nature. Chlorophyll makes things grow. This counters the efforts of mold as it decomposes, degenerates and breaks down all biological material to their basic elements, and recycles them back to Mother Earth, from whence they came. Chlorophyll generates. Mold degenerates. Chlorophyllin has been proved to reduce by 50% the absorption of aflatoxins, one of the mycotoxins produced by mold in foods. As a result, it reduced liver cancer by 50% in that Oregon State University / John Hopkins trial of a China population with a high incidence rate of liver cancer. I believe, from my own experiences with using it, that it also is effective against other mycotoxins produced by various toxic molds.

I try to take a 100mg capsule of chlorophyll/chlorophyllin three times a day, as they did in the trial. This saturates the organs. Be warned, everything coming out will be greenish. I also try to put a 3mg drop of chlorphyll/chlorophyllin concentrate into each glass of water I drink throughout the day. Make sure you are not allergic to the plant that particular chlorophyll/chlorophyllin is made from. Check the label for it's source.

Garlic - Mold does not seem to like garlic. So, I take garlic capsules each day, and add garlic to many dishes.

Yogurt & Probiotics - When your body has high levels of mold and other fungi upsetting the fungal/bacterial balance of your body, action is required. Reduction of additional mold and fungi from inhalation and ingestion is very important. At the same time you can increase the GOOD bacteria level by consuming a good yogurt or other probiotic. Once you reachieve proper fungal/bacterial balance they will keep each other in check. Then, you can work to bring both of them down to a lower level together, at the same time, by using chlorophyll/chlorophyllin and hydrogen peroxide.

Sugar Products - Avoid sugar products. These sugar carbohydrates feed the mold and other fungi in your body. They love to feed on them to help them grow and multiply inside your body. This depletes your body of energy, and leaves you craving sugar products. Fight the urge to eat sugar products. Fill the void with good carbohydrates like green vegetables and other chlorophyll rich carbs.

Drugs

Aspirin - Aspirin thins the blood. This is why it can be used to help prevent heart attacks and strokes. The thinnner blood can flow around blockages in the circulatory system. An aspirin a day can help the needed oxygenated blood to flow around the immune complexes which often block the smaller blood capillaries.

Antibiotics - Most antibiotics are made from various molds. Penicillin is made from penicillium, etc. The antibiotic is sent in to kill off the bacterial infection. The problem is that it also kills off the good bacteria needed by your body. This throws the body out of fungal/bacterial balance. When the body is in fungal/bacterial balance the fungi and bacteria keep each other in check. If either becomes quantitatively and/or qualitatively too much stronger, they will cause infection. If it is necessary to take an antibiotic, let it run it's course. Then take probiotics to bring your body back into fungal/bacterial balance. Balance plays a huge role in all the operating systems of the human body functioning properly.

Birth Control Pills - Some birth control pills use molds. (It has been awhile since I studied this one. Will elaborate later. Feel free to send me an email with links to information on this one.)
