Symptoms are Shared with
Diseases

The biggest problem in mold exposure litigation cases is
proving that certain health symptoms are from that particular mold
exposure. This is particularly difficult since, most symptoms
caused by mold exposures can also be attributed to other medical
conditions. The evolution of medical information, theories, and
practice has always been, and always will be, an ongoing
process. In my opinion, all too often in the medical field the
wrong conclusion is come to. There seems to be an inherent tendency
to put the cart in front of the horse. This appears to be the
result of trying to make the conclusions fit into the currently
available boxes of diagnosis. New discoveries each year are
constantly changing the arrangement and availability of those
boxes.
When it comes to identifying what health symptoms are from mold
exposures, it is not a case of the symptoms of mold exposures also
being attributable to other diseases and/or conditions. I believe
it is a case of the mold fungi, with their multi-systemic effects
on the human body, being the most significant underlying causation
of most of those very diseases, and/or conditions, which the
symptoms of mold exposures are conviently blamed on. Once again,
the cart before the horse. It makes a lot more sense to acknowledge
that the horse is pulling the cart.
I believe
mold fungi play a very significant role in aging and degeneration
of the human body. They are like little gremlins, subtly disabling
the operating systems of the human body. They use at least three
methods to carry out their assigned task of deconstructing,
decomposing, degenerating, and breaking down all biological matter
to their basic elements, and recycling them back to Mother Nature,
from whence they came.
Invading mold fungi trigger the immune system to form immune
complexes, which interrupt the flow of oxygenated blood in the
circulatory system. They suck the water out of your body, depriving
your body of the adequate levels of H2O it requires to function
properly. And mold fungi produce mycotoxins, which damage your
brain and nervous system.
Mold fungi cause interruption of the circulatory system. When
mold fungi invade the human body, our immune defense system
forms immune
complexesfrom the invading fungi
antigen and their antibodies. The immune complex
patrols are sent out to stop or slowdown the incursions of mold
fungi into your body. The size of the immune complexes is large
enough that they often get lodged in, and block, the smaller blood
capillaries. The blood capillaries are noodle-like passageways used
to transport blood, with it's life giving element of oxygen, from
the arteries to the cells and tissues.
These blockages obstruct and reduce the blood flow rate in the
circulatory system. Blood pressure builds up behind them. The rate
of blood flowing to the cells and tissues, especially those
farthest from the heart pump, are reduced to sub-generative levels.
This results in numbness and pain. This is similar to the
sensations of putting a string or a rubber band around your finger,
depleting the tissues of the oxygenated blood, which they require
to stay generative and live.
Mold fungi suck the moisture and the nutrients out of your body
for their own use. Dehydrating your body of the
water(H2O)(O=Oxygen) depletes your body of adequate levels required
for your body to stay generative and live. The tissues require the
O in H2O to live. Both the electrical and chemical communication
systems of your body require adequate levels of water to maintain
proper chemical consistency, in order for the communication matrix
to stay in flux. A very rough analogy would be like letting the
water get too low in a car battery, shorting the cells
out.
Mold fungi manufacture mycotoxins to kill off their microbial
competitors, with toxins that harm your brain and neurological
systems. One of the mycotoxins, aflatoxin, is listed as a known
carcinogen, by the National Institute of Health, in it's
11 th Report on Carcinogens .
I am no longer amazed at the high number of diseases,
syndromes, and other afflictions which all have the same health
symptoms as my toxic mold exposure. We are being inundated with
mold fungi from all directions. I am no longer amazed, and I am no
longer amused, by the high numbers of diseases, syndromes, and
conditions whose ending sentence is "they don't know what causes
it". If you want to understand the forest, look at the
trees.
My research has connected our mold exposures to the
degenerative diseases and processes of the human body, leading to
diseases/conditions such as Arthritis, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's,
Cancers, and many more. They have been the engineers of
deconstruction, decomposition, and degeneration of all biological
components back down to their basic elements throughout history. It
is their job, assigned by Mother Nature. Once people accept this
truth, all the degenerative diseases/conditions start to make a lot
more sense.
Arthur Schopenhauer said "All
truth passes through three stages: First, it is ridiculed. Then, it
is opposed violently. Third, it is accepted as being
self-evident."
There are similarities between the actions of mold fungi in a
tree, or piece of wood, and the actions of those same mold fungi in
a human body. This is especially true of the structural molds, that
thrive in the building materials from which houses are constructed.
In a tree or piece of wood they suck the moisture and nutrients
out, for their own use, untill they deconstruct, decompose, and
degenerate that piece of wood down to just dry rot dust.
In a human body those same molds attempt to do the same thing.
It's just a lot more complicated with our immune defense system.
They don't care that you are a human being. They only care that you
contain the biological materials they require, in order for them to
survive and grow. They don't care that sucking the moisture and
nutrients out of you degenerates your body. They are the
ultimate biological recyclers. Their job has always been
to deconstruct, decompose, degenerate, and break down all
biological components into their basic elements, and recycle them
back to Mother Earth. The cycle of life.
Mold fungi are very adaptive, parasitic, opportunistic, and
always evolving all around us. Like all species, mold fungi pursue
survival. In order to survive mold fungi require three things;
heat, moisture, and biological material for a food source. Our
bodies are definitely biological. They will suck the warmth, the
moisture, and the nutritional elements right out of you for their
own use and survival, whether or not your body can afford those
losses. The sooner this is understood, the sooner all the pieces of
the degenerative puzzle will start to fit together!
Throughout nature 'survival of the strongest' has always been
the code. Any scar tissue from injuries, damaged cells and tissues,
or malfunctioning operating systems in your body, represent easier
prey for the mold fungi. Decomposition and degeneration of that
tissue has already done part of their job for them. Nature taking
the path of least resistance.
After being given an antibiotic( a concentrated dose of mold
fungi, being sent in to battle the bacteria) for an infection, my
health deteriorated rapidly. Additional mold fungi added to an
abnormally high level of mold fungi, already causing multi-systemic
health problems, and upseting the bacteria/mold fungi balance
further, triggered a rapid decline in my health.
In seeking a way to test some of the compositions being coughed
up from my lungs, I ended up in contact with Dr. Berman. Dr. Berman
is the director of the Toxicology Information Center at Oregon
Health Science University in Portland, Oregon. His training and
experience in veterinary medicine gave him insight into the effects
of mold fungi. My memory was still being effected during the
periods when we talked. But, some of the messages I took from our
conversations were as follows. The aspergillus mold fungi, like I
was exposed to, tend to colonize in the lungs and feed off scar
tissue. When I was given an antibiotic, it killed off the mold
fungi's bacterial competitors. Without the competitors which help
keep the mold fungi in check, the mold fungi had free reign to
wreak havoc throughout my body. The bacterial/fungal check/balance
equation was upset.
Also Dr. Berman educated me as to how the immune system
combines invading mold fungi antigens with antibodies, to
form immune
complexes, which hunt down and destroy the invading
mold fungi antigens. These immune complexes are large enough that
they get lodged in, and block, the smaller blood capillaries. This
can cause the severe arthritic pain I was experiencing. I wondered
why so much research was still being done on arthritis.
This was the first information which made sense of the drastic
downturn in my health. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Berman for
this. This information gave me the start of understanding and hope,
as my health slipped out from under me. Those words helped guide me
down the path I have followed to get me to here. Now, I will share
all that I have learned and experienced with the rest of the world.
Millions of people who are unknowingly suffering the direct, or
indirect, effects of mold fungi inside their bodies. I believe that
my research will bring them understanding and hope.
With the aspergillus mold fungi colonized in my lungs, my lung
capacity was reduced. This reduction in lung capacity was verified
when I traveled to see Dr. Marinkovich three months later. My
reduction in lung capacity was further complicated by my altered
sensitivities to smells. My sense of smell was reduced in some
ways, but was extremely enhanced in most ways. Which is good when
it comes to nice smelling things like foods cooking, flowers, fresh
air in the woods or the smell of the ocean air.
But, this enhanced smell sensitivity was quite unpleasant when
it came to bad smells, or pleasant smells which now were
unpleasantly strong. Strong colognes, strong perfumes, not so fresh
foods, garbage trucks, exhaust, especially diesels, people with bad
hygiene, instantly made me feel nauseous. Your body reacts to limit
exposures, by holding your breath or taking shallower breaths. This
can envolve to a habitual pattern of shallower breathing. This
further complicates the problem of reduced lung
capacity.
Your body depends on, and is designed for, using your lungs to
their full capacity. Proper respiration of inhaling needed oxygen
into your lungs, and exhaling the body's waste gases such as carbon
dioxide, depends on using the full capacity of your lungs. If you
want to have 100% use of your body, you need to have 100% use of
your lungs. Inadequate oxygen is one of the key causes in
degeneration of tissues in the human body.
The human body is best understood if it is looked upon as a
biological machine. It is one of the most sophisticated machines in
the universe. It is very complex, yet simple. It has basic needs of
oxygen, water, and nutrient fuels. If we provide our bodies with
the proper quantities and qualities of those elements they require,
they will run well. If not, they will degenerate and break
down.
Our human biological machine is designed to run with certain
specifications, at specific flow rates for each element. If we
maintain our biological machine with its required fuels and fluids,
the human body performs like the most awesome and adaptive machine
it was created to be. If we don't filter out the degenerative
elements, their contamination of our biological machine will lead
to minor, then major breakdowns, in a domino of cause and
effects.
